Key Design Elements: Green building, 100 % standby, PV installation, PPP, full biometric security, fire detection and sound masking

This is the first PPP (Public Private Participation) project undertaken by OneZero Consulting. Statistics South Africa’s new home is a 50 000 m² campus in Salvokop, Pretoria with “state of the art” security to protect sensitive and confidential information. OneZero Consulting’s scope of work encompassed full building services, audio visual and included the following:
•    Saturated grid for power and lighting         reticulation
•    3 MVA energy centre
•    Installation of 2 x 1850 kVA generators and a         500 kVA UPS
•    ICT Installation supervision
•    223 kW PV installation
•    CCTV & Access Control Installation
•    Audio visual installation for 46 meeting and training rooms
